Nursing and Health Sciences sent student
representatives to participate in a
training workshop to enhance basic
accounting knowledge, preparing new
entrepreneurs for business
registration.
On August
5, 2015, the College of Nursing and
Health Sciences sent student
representatives to participate in a
workshop titled "Basic Accounting
for New Start-Up Entrepreneurs."
This workshop aimed to prepare new
entrepreneurs for business registration
under the project to promote and support
business registration or intellectual
property protection
registration.
Ajarn Athitaya Buasri,
Deputy Director of Intellectual Property
Management and Business Incubation, gave
the opening speech and delivered a
speech to the students at Meeting Room
5724, Faculty of Management Sciences. A
total of 30 students from various
faculties and colleges participated in
the training.
This workshop featured
expert accounting speakers, including
Dr. Kwanchat Wongchanthip and Ajarn
Natthasan Sinthuchaipakseri from the
Accounting Department, Faculty of
Management Sciences. They presented
practical content on accounting system
design, income and expense recording,
daily accounting, document preparation
related to business registration and
taxation, break-even point calculation,
and other related topics. This activity
was organized to enhance basic
accounting knowledge and understanding
for students with startup
entrepreneurial aspirations. This will
prepare them to enter the legal business
system and enable them to effectively
manage their businesses.
This
activity aligns with Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs) 4: Quality
Education and 8: Decent Work and
Economic Growth. The goal is to equip
students with the knowledge and skills
necessary to effectively start
businesses and foster new entrepreneurs
who can strengthen the grassroots
economy of the future.
