The
College of Nursing and Health Sciences,
Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, led
by Assistant Professor Dr. Tasanee
Attaras, Dean of the College of Nursing
and Health Sciences, assigned Asst.
Prof. Dr. Nuengruethai Phosri, Deputy
Dean for Academic Affairs, along with
third- and fourth-year Bachelor of
Nursing students, to participate in the
wreath-laying ceremony and activities on
National Nurses Day 2025.
The
ceremony was held to honor and
commemorate the grace of Her Royal
Highness Princess Srinagarindra, the
"Mother of Thai Nursing" and
"Mother of Thai Public
Health," who has dedicated her
diligence and compassion to the
sustainable development of nursing and
public health in the country.
The
ceremony was attended by The Minister of
Public Health, Permanent Secretary,
Deputy Permanent Secretary, senior
executives within the Ministry of Public
Health, the President of the Nursing
Council, the President of the Thai
Nurses Association, and representatives
from various agencies participated in
the ceremony. The ceremony included the
laying of a royal wreath, the recitation
of royal eulogies, and a moment of
silence in mourning.
Participating in
this activity demonstrated loyalty,
gratitude, and an appreciation for the
immeasurable grace of Her Majesty Queen
Srinagarindra the Princess Mother. It
also served to inspire and encourage
nursing professionals nationwide to
continue their duties with a spirit of
sacrifice for the good health of the
people. The ceremony took place at the
Queen Srinagarindra Monument, Chaloem
Phrakiat Public Health Park, Ministry of
Public Health, Nonthaburi
Province.
