Academic Lecture on "Child Growth and Development and Physical Health Promotion" under the "Early Childhood Teacher/Caregiver Capacity Development, Batch 2" Project

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized an academic lecture on "Child Growth and Development and Physical Health Promotion" under the "Early Childhood Teacher/Caregiver Capacity Development, Batch 2" project on November 9, 2015, at the Coco View Hotel in Samut Songkhram Province.
The lecture was honored to have Asst. Prof. Supawadi Lertsamran, a lecturer in the Pediatric Nursing Department at the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, as a speaker. The morning session provided knowledge on monitoring child growth and development, assessing and reporting results using the Developmental Surveillance and Promotion Manual (DSPM), to enable teachers and caregivers to accurately and appropriately monitor development for their age.
The afternoon session featured a lecture on promoting the physical health of early childhood children, including proper nutrition and immunity building, to promote sustainable development and health in early childhood children.
This project aligns with the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being: Promote the health and well-being of children.
SDG 4: Quality Education: Develop the skills of quality early childhood education personnel.
SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities: Promote equal access to care and child development.

The College of Nursing and Health continues to develop the potential of early childhood care personnel to build a foundation for quality human resource development and support the sustainable growth of Thai society.
