the Queen Mother

On
Sunday, November 23, 2025, at 4:30 PM,
Assistant Professor Dr. Tassanee
Attaras, Dean of the College of Nursing
and Health Sciences, along with the
Deputy Deans, faculty, staff, and
students, participated in the Royal
Cremation Ceremony for Her Majesty Queen
Sirikit, the Queen Mother, to express
their condolences and express their
deepest gratitude for Her Majesty's
immeasurable grace.
Phra Ratcha Samut
Wachirasophon, Advisor to the
Ecclesiastical Region 15 and Abbot of
Wat Phet Samut Worawihan Royal
Monastery, presided over the monastic
rites. Assistant Professor Dr. Pharm.
Pharm. Pharm. Pharm. Thongmuang presided
over the lay rites, lighting incense and
candles to pay homage to the Triple Gem,
the Dhamma candle, and the small golden
tray before Her Majesty's portrait
during the Royal Cremation Ceremony for
Her Majesty Queen Sirikit. Her Majesty
Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother presented
a funeral pyre and poured water to
receive blessings. Executives, faculty,
staff, and students of Suan Sunandha
Rajabhat University, along with members
of the public from Samut Songkhram
Province, participated in the Buddhist
chanting ceremony for the royal
remains.
The ceremony took place at
the multipurpose building on the 2nd
floor of Wat Phet Samut Worawihan,
Mueang Samut Songkhram District, Samut
Songkhram Province.
