
Open House Activity Welcomes Students in Samut Songkhram Province Under the Plant Genetic Conservation Project (P.S.P.)

Wednesday, December 3, 2025, Assistant
Professor Dr. Tassanee Atharas, Dean of
the College of Nursing and Health
Sciences, assigned Mr. Noppadol Inyasri,
Office Head, and staff to welcome a
group of students from Sattha Samut
School and Thawaranukul School, who
participated in a study and tour of the
university's operations under the
Mangrove Plant Learning Center for
Medical Use project.
During the
activity, the College of Nursing and
Health Sciences led the students to
visit the Virtual Simulation Lab for
nursing students. This innovative
teaching and learning platform helps
develop professional skills, provides
hands-on experience, and enhances the
quality of nursing graduates, ensuring
they are ready for future
practice.
This activity aligns with
the following Sustainable Development
Goals (SDGs):

education by promoting lifelong learning
and providing students with
opportunities to gain hands-on
experience from learning resources and
educational innovations

and SDG 15: Conservation of marine and
terrestrial ecosystems This is achieved
through promoting knowledge about
mangrove plant species and natural
resource conservation.

Development, integrating collaboration
between universities, schools, and
network partners to create learning for
society.
This OPEN HOUSE activity
aims to inspire youth in Samut Songkhram
Province to explore the world of
learning and recognize the role of Suan
Sunandha Rajabhat University in
sustainable human resource development
and environmental conservation. It also
raises awareness of plant genetic
conservation and the importance of
natural resources to improve quality of
life in the future.
