
The College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, is moving forward with the second generation of early childhood teachers and caregivers to raise the standards of childcare centers and promote sustainable child development. This initiative, supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI), is underway.

December 6, 2015, the College of Nursing
and Health Sciences, Suan Sunandha
Rajabhat University, organized an
academic training session to enhance
knowledge and skills in early childhood
care for teachers, caregivers, and
related personnel. Expert speakers
shared their expertise throughout the
day.
Morning: Associate Professor Dr.
Nuanchan Chudapakdikul from the
Neuroscience Research Center, Institute
of Molecular Biosciences, Mahidol
University, delivered a lecture on
"Executive Functions and Early
Childhood Development." The lecture
explored the functioning of the frontal
lobe, the development of EF skills, and
applied approaches to organizing
activities to promote appropriate child
development.
Afternoon: Lecturer
Chakkrit Pichdee, a lecturer at the
College of Nursing and Health Sciences,
delivered a lecture on "Guidelines
for Caring for Sick Children in Early
Childhood Development Centers." The
lecture covered general illness
assessment, primary care, and
appropriate referral methods. To enhance
child health care skills in educational
institutions for greater
efficiency,
this training aims to
develop the potential of early childhood
personnel to apply their knowledge to
safe, high-quality child care and
development. This is an important part
of raising the standards of early
childhood education in Samut Songkhram
Province.
