On December 7, 2015, the College of Nursing and Health, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, organized the "Capacity Development for Early Childhood Teachers/Caregivers, Batch 2" project at the Coco View Hotel in Samut Songkhram Province. The project aimed to promote skills, knowledge, and approaches for developing quality early childhood care.
The project included academic lectures on early childhood education and development by distinguished faculty members, including:
• Assistant Professor Dr. Tassanee Attharot, Dean of the College of Nursing and Health
• Assistant Professor Kanchana Siricharoenwong, Deputy Dean for Administration
• Assistant Professor Ariya Deeprasert, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Services
The focus was on developing knowledge on the roles of teachers and caregivers, creating appropriate learning environments, and promoting age-appropriate development. Case study discussions provided an opportunity for participants to analyze real-world situations and exchange ideas. and present solutions to problems encountered in situations that may arise in early childhood centers or early childhood classrooms.
The case study discussions enhance analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills based on academic information. They also provide a forum for participants to learn from each other's experiences, enabling them to apply their knowledge effectively and sustainably in their work.
This project aims to enhance the quality of early childhood care in the area and promote human resource development in line with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation's policy on standardized and continuous educational development.
