The College of Nursing and
Health organized a Mock Exam simulating
real-life situations to prepare the team
for The 3rd Nursing Skills
Tournament.
The College
of Nursing and Health, Suan Sunandha
Rajabhat University, organized a project
aimed at developing nursing
students’ potential toward
academic excellence and professional
nursing skills for national and
international competitions under the
activity entitled “Mock Exam:
Simulation-based Learning for The 3rd
Nursing Skills Tournament.” The
activity was designed to prepare nursing
students by allowing them to practice
nursing procedures in realistic
simulated situations, enhancing their
academic capabilities, professional
competencies, and self-confidence before
entering national and international
competitions.
The activity
emphasized the Simulation-based Learning
process, which recreates clinical
situations closely resembling real-life
scenarios. This approach provided
students with opportunities to practice
critical thinking, analysis,
decision-making, and systematic
problem-solving in emergency situations.
In addition, students were able to
improve their communication skills,
teamwork, and management abilities under
pressure, under the guidance and
supervision of nursing faculty members
and professional
experts.
Furthermore, the Mock
Exam activity served as an important
component in assessing students’
readiness, helping them gain valuable
experience and further develop their
potential to compete effectively in
alignment with the university’s
goals.
