Mangrove Planting
Activities
Suan Sunandha
Rajabhat University's College of
Nursing and Health sent student
representatives to participate in
environmental activities with a network
of 9 higher education institutions to
develop the quality of graduates. The
activity, "Coastal Environmental
Conservation and Mangrove
Planting," took place on Friday,
May 22, 2026, at the Phanthai Norasingh
Shrine in Samut Sakhon Province.
In
this event, Ms. Wirada Saitamlung
was sent as a student representative
from the College of Nursing and Health.
The activities integrated environmental
learning and the development of
environmental awareness through creative
activities such as planting mangrove
trees and seedlings, releasing crabs
back into nature, collecting garbage
along the canal and improving the
surrounding landscape, as well as
learning about community food
traditions. This aimed to create an
understanding of the ecosystem connected
to the lifestyle of people in coastal
areas.
This activity reflects the
cooperation of the network of higher
education institutions in promoting
public service among students, raising
awareness of natural resource
conservation, and enabling them to
become a vital force in driving society
towards sustainability.
