The College of Nursing and Health, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, participated in the Buddhist merit-making ceremony to commemorate the 146th anniversary of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sunantha Kumareeratana, the Royal Consort.
Assistant Professor Dr. Tasanee Attharas, Dean of the College of Nursing and Health, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, assigned Assistant Professor Kanjana Siricharoenwong, Deputy Dean for Administration, and Ms. Nasiphas Aphinthanapong to attend the ceremony to commemorate the royal benevolence on the occasion of the 146th anniversary of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sunantha Kumareeratana, the Royal Consort.
The ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Wittaya Mekkham, Acting Vice President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. The ceremony included laying a floral wreath (at the royal cemetery), lighting incense and candles to worship the Triple Gem, lighting incense and candles for the royal offering, monks chanting Buddhist prayers, offering funeral shrouds, and monks performing the funeral rites.
The ceremony was held on Sunday, May 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the small chapel of Wat Ratchabophit Sathit Mahasimararam, Bangkok. The ceremony was attended by the executive committee, faculty, and staff of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
