
Enhancing Counseling Communication Skills: College of Nursing and Health Participates in Practical Training Workshop
Assistant Professor Dr. Tassanee Attharos, Dean of the College of Nursing and Health, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, assigned Ms. Kassira Luangarom and student representatives to participate in the “Basic Counseling Skills Workshop.” The program aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and understanding of the principles and processes of basic counseling, while developing effective communication and active listening skills necessary for providing counseling services.
The workshop focused on fostering appropriate attitudes toward helping and supporting individuals facing challenges. It also aimed to strengthen the capabilities of both personnel and students in delivering services, providing assistance, and addressing problems appropriately at an initial level. In addition, the training served as a platform for building learning networks and exchanging experiences among participants from various university units and organizations.
The workshop was held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Chorkaew Conference Room, Building 31, 5th Floor, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. Participants from various departments within the university attended the program to collaboratively enhance their counseling competencies, which play a vital role in promoting the well-being, quality of life, and mental health of students and personnel in higher education institutions.
