The College of Nursing and
Health Sciences is holding an
orientation for new students in the 2026
academic year, preparing them for
learning and life at
university.
--------------------------
July
13-14, 2026, at the 500-seat auditorium,
2nd floor, Samut Songkhram Campus, to
prepare new students academically, for
university life, and for adapting to
becoming quality nursing
students.
The orientation will be
presided over by Assistant Professor Dr.
Tasanee Attharas, Dean of the College of
Nursing and Health Sciences, who will
welcome new students and introduce the
college's administrators, faculty,
and staff to build familiarity and
confidence in starting university
life.
The event will also include a
lecture on "Life at
University" by Assistant Professor
Kanjana Siricharoenwong, Vice Dean for
Administration, who will share
guidelines on living, adapting, and
self-development at the higher education
level.
The second day of the
orientation will focus on academic
preparation, with Assistant Professor
Dr. Nuengrutai Pothisri, Vice Dean for
Academic Affairs, introducing the
college's teaching methods and
academic activities. Students then
received guidance on taking General
Education (Gen-Ed) courses through the
Flexspace system from faculty members of
the School of General Education and
Electronic Learning Innovation.
In
addition, Mr. Puttipat Semajit
introduced learning resources, the
library, and educational information
databases to promote information
retrieval skills and
self-learning.
This new student
orientation program is an important
activity that helps new students receive
necessary information for their studies,
build understanding of the teaching and
learning system, and foster good
relationships between students, faculty,
and staff. This is a crucial foundation
for developing nursing students into
quality graduates who are knowledgeable,
ethical, and ready to become capable
nursing personnel in the future.
