
The College of Nursing and
Health Sciences conducted a community
health promotion activity under the
project "Community-Based Health
Promotion and Care: Preventing Chronic
Diseases."
The
College of Nursing and Health Sciences,
Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, led
by Assistant Professor Wiphakorn
Sonsanam and students, conducted a
health promotion activity under the
project "Community-Based Health
Promotion and Care: Preventing Chronic
Diseases" on August 26, 2016, from
8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Suan Ruen
Community Preschool Development Center.
In collaboration with Public Health
Service Center No. 19, the activity
aimed to promote knowledge and health
care among community members.
The
event included health promotion
activities such as Tai Chi, aerobics, a
demonstration of healthy cooking, and an
education on blood pressure. Free blood
pressure checks and basic blood sugar
testing were also provided. The goal was
to raise awareness about preventing and
reducing the risk of chronic diseases,
and to enable people to apply this
knowledge to appropriately care for
their own and their families'
health.
