
Fourth-year nursing
students participated in health
screening and promoted hypertension
prevention in the Phasuk
community.
On
August 26, 2026, fourth-year nursing
students from the College of Nursing and
Health, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat
University, under the supervision of
Assistant Professor Nonglak Kaewthong,
in collaboration with Public Health
Service Center 4 (Din Daeng), visited
the Phasuk community, Soi Prachasongkroh
28, Din Daeng District, Bangkok, to
conduct health promotion and disease
prevention activities in the
community.
During the activities, the
nursing students participated in health
screening for the residents and
organized the project “Phasuk
Community United Against
Hypertension” to educate the
public about hypertension, raise
awareness of risk factors, and enable
them to apply this knowledge to their
health care and modify their health
behaviors appropriately.
This
activity is part of the Community Health
Nursing Practice course, aiming to
promote learning from real-world
situations, develop skills in health
assessment, health promotion, disease
prevention, and systematic collaboration
with public health personnel and the
community.
The College of Nursing and
Health, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat
University, aims to produce nursing
graduates with knowledge, skills, and a
public-spirited attitude, ready to
contribute to the health and quality of
life of the people and communities.
