On August 5, 2024, the College of Nursing and Health, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University organized the Basic Level Disability Assistant Training Program 2012, 4th Batch, supported by the budget from the Fund for the Promotion and Development of the Quality of Life of Disabled Persons. This is to enable trainees to have knowledge, skills, and be able to perform their duties in accordance with the roles and responsibilities of disabled assistants effectively and to participate in providing disabled assistant services. This will promote the number of disabled assistants to meet the needs of disabled persons who request disabled assistant services, and serve as a forum for exchanging knowledge, building attitudes, and enhancing knowledge and experience in providing disabled assistant services. We were honored to have Lecturer Bandita Prasitsart give a lecture on “Basic Knowledge of Disabled Persons and Disabilities” and a lecture on “Types of Disabilities, Initial Assessment, and Needs”, Assistant Professor Chamaiporn Thammawasi gave a lecture on “Basic Psychology and Creative Communication”, and Lecturer Phimsiri Chinkam gave a lecture on “Guidelines for Evaluating Disabled Persons According to the Evaluation Criteria for Disabled Persons Who Need Disabled Assistants” at the Kaew Chao Chom Hotel.
