
College of Nursing and Health Conducts Community Health Services and Community Consultation at Wat Phakhininat Community
On October 6, 2026, from 8:30–10:00 a.m., the College of Nursing and Health, led by Assistant Professor (Special) Dr. Surang Chueawanichakorn, together with fourth-year nursing students, conducted a community health screening and consultation activity at Wat Phakhininat Community, in collaboration with Public Health Service Center 31 Eurb-Jit Thangsuphut.
The activity was divided into two sessions:
8:30–9:00 a.m. — Community Health Screening Services
Nursing students provided basic health screening services to community residents, including:
• Measuring vital signs
• Checking blood glucose levels (DTX)
• Measuring weight and height and assessing nutritional status
• Providing individual health advice and consultation
9:00–10:00 a.m. — Community Consultation
A
community consultation was conducted to
listen to residents’ health
concerns and needs. The consultation
identified the number-one health and
environmental concern in the community
as disease-carrying pests, particularly
mosquitoes. ![]()
Based on the information gathered, the nursing students will use the findings to develop and implement a “Mosquito and Disease-Vector Control Project” to promote sanitation and prevent the spread of diseases among residents of Wat Phakhininat Community on Monday, October 12, 2026.
